I have not been writing much here – partly due to loss of appetite, loss of energy and chronic fatigue. I hope to do more reviews because the weather is much better, albeit a bit too warm sometimes here in London
I am, in close proximity to a great diversity of restaurants with great choice, sadly, not all of them accessible. Having said that, I am quite dyspraxic and am often lost locating them. Such is the case with Canary Wharf, where it feels like a maze to me. Luckily I often have family, friends / and or PAs to guide me.
Yesterday, it was Sunday family lunch and we chose to go Italian – to the Osteria Al Modo. The menu , ‘specials ‘ is quite simple and we opted for pasta, one with a ragu sauce and the other, with a lemon creamy cheese sauce. We had bruschetta with anchovies to start with and gelato to finish.
I enjoyed the meal, the server / main guy in charge was attentive and we had a great catch up Sunday lunch.
There is an accessible loo although at the time, there were kids highchairs in there. There is outdoors seating, dogs are allowed. Closed on Mondays
