Antalya restaurant: Sauté prawns and spinach

 Sauté prawns

Sauté prawns

Our conference is finished – Annie and I were shattered but we needed to eat before catching our separate trains.

We started walking and stopped outside the Antalya Restaurant. A waitress gave us a table by the window. We started to relax. We had mint tea. We had some aubergine caviar and a spicey fresh tasting starter with some lovely bread and we shared a dish of Sauté King Prawns and another spinach dish. The prawns were very good and plentiful and the spinach was very creamy.

Annie felt mellowed enough to have a glass of house red. They ran out of baklava and they gave us some fruit to finish off the meal. Totally satisfying and can definitely recommend it.

Antalya Restaurant 103-105 Southampton Row, London WC1 4BHH. Level access entrance.

the spicy starter was Kisir; the creamy spinach was diced with halloumi; the company was excellent despite both of us being v tired. Waitress from Albania (rather than Turkey) was lovely too.
